Privacy Policy
Last revised: August 2026
The short version
Feiper Cocina is a recipe publication. Reading it does not require an account, a login or a subscription, and we would much rather talk about lard and comales than about your data. Still, running any modern website involves some information moving around, and this page explains exactly what that looks like here.
What reaches us when you visit
Like almost every site on the internet, our hosting infrastructure automatically records basic technical details of each request: the IP address it came from, the type of browser and device asking for the page, the date and time, and which page was requested. These server logs exist for security and stability reasons. We do not use them to build profiles of individual readers.
If you choose to email us, we naturally receive whatever you decide to include in that message, along with your email address. That information is used only to reply to you.
Cookies on this site
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Our own pages work perfectly well without any login cookies, but third party services described below may set cookies of their own to function. You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings; the recipes will remain fully readable if you do.
Advertising and Google AdSense
This website may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this website and to other websites across the internet.
- You can read how Google uses advertising cookies at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
- Google's overall privacy practices are described at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting https://www.google.com/settings/ads.
We do not control the cookies that advertising partners set, and their use of information is governed by their own privacy policies rather than by this one.
Measuring our traffic
We may use aggregate analytics to understand which recipes people enjoy, which pages load slowly and where readers arrive from in general terms (for example, "search" versus "a link on another site"). This information is viewed in aggregate. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from analytics data, and we do not combine it with email correspondence.
Who else sees anything
We do not sell, rent or trade reader information. Ever. The only situations in which information may leave our hands are: service providers who host this website and process data on our behalf; advertising partners as described above, acting under their own policies; and cases where the law genuinely requires disclosure.
How long information sticks around
Server logs rotate and are deleted on a rolling basis. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the conversation and a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Aggregate statistics, which identify no one, may be kept longer for historical comparison.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct or delete personal information that relates to you, to object to certain processing, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since we hold almost nothing about our readers, exercising these rights is usually very simple: write to us using the details below and we will respond.
Readers under thirteen
This website is written for a general adult audience of home cooks. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Crossing borders
Our hosting and advertising providers operate global infrastructure, which means technical data may be processed on servers located in different countries. Where that happens, it is done under the safeguards those providers maintain for international data handling.
When this policy changes
If we change how the site handles information, this page will be updated and the revision date at the top will change. Substantial changes will be flagged clearly on this page.
